Space Station Prospect is located at 1240 Prospect Avenue, just up the block from the Fort Hamilton stop on the F/G lines in Brooklyn (First car if Manhattan bound, last car if Brooklyn bound).
What We Offer
Space Station Prospect was created to offer a place for play and design. With the use of various physical and digital games and activities, cadets are provided with unique experiences as well as opportunities to apply those experiences to their own creation of content.
Meet the Crew
We are a small staff that is dedicated to sharing insights from one gamer to another. Furthermore, we have been trained to guide students through their own exploration of design elements in order to create meaningful work by a certified educator who has been doing this sort of thing for years.
John Busso has been teaching Technology, Design and English for almost 20 years in Private and Public schools around Brooklyn. He is has lived in the area for his entire life and is passionate about the Windsor Terrace Community. He has been trained and certified as a Teacher, Technology Coordinator and Gamification Expert. He has designed and taught in STEAM classrooms. When he is not working, husbanding, or fathering, he is gaming in one way or another.
Safety is our top priority and as such, we have a number of safety protocols in place including requiring masks at all times, maintaining a fully vaccinated staff, and conducting regular thorough cleanings of the space. We are committed to providing a safe space for children to learn, play, and grow together.
