Moving Forward at the Space Station We are all worried about Covid-19. We are taking all possible precautions and following guidelines set out by the state. We’re keeping the camp numbers low. We are using the backyard space, the number of children inside at the same time will be limited. Everything is wiped down before and after play. All staff will be wearing masks and we will encourage cadets to wear masks inside. Adults will be asked to stay outside and drop off/pick up at the door.
Summer Camp - The Space Station will offer a very limited and highly personalized camp experience that focuses on utilizing our outdoor space to create a safe environment. Campers will have the opportunity to work at the station to learn how to create meaningful gaming content and will have access to this content outside of the Space Station as well. There will be an organized online community that will foster communication-building skills between our members.
SEPTEMBER and onward Space Station will be open during the school year for distance learning. Staff will facilitate online lessons and sessions and help with school work. We will create a schedule that incorporates their school work but also gives them time to enjoy the Space Station as they know it.
The Space Station offers a unique place for students to explore the best of digital and physical gaming while learning from the design decisions that drive the experience.
We believe Magical Moments of Learning can be had by anyone when they are having fun.
We offer drop-off after school service, design programs weekly (starting February), parties, and after-hours programs for adult kids nightly.
